Here is a little article about one of my favourite rockband that i saw in concert the 23rd june 2007.
This days was not particulary great or something, i woke up, went out for shopping, then went to "Les Conviviales" where my big bro was making a hip hop show after that it rained -_-° i was pretty annoyed as i did not have an umbrella.... so after that, my three bros, audrey and me went to the Parc des Princes. It was soooo crowed, i think i never saw that much people gathered in the same place (the Pqrc des Princes can contain about 45 000 people). The band which made the first part was Archive. I did not know that band but they make pretty good music. They were all dressed with black men's suit. It was very stylish. I thought the pianist was going to break his back as he bowed everytime he was playing. One guitarist (who also singed) has a funny way to dance. It was sooo oldschool but I liked it. He was like this : His legs were far away one from the other, and he was moving his hand in all directions. I really liked what they did even thought i was quite sceptical at the begining.
After that, we waited for a bunch of minutes, the time for the staff to install the instruments of muse, among them, we could see Dom's famous clear drums. Some time after, we saw something opening in the middle of the stadium.... there were a lot of little white pieces of paper fliying in the air. The band was on some kind of elevator, we could see Matt dressed with a bright red men's suit and a white t-shirt ( it was extremely bright, you could see it from 10 miles away), Dom with a green slim, a black man's shirt and some white Converse ( at first glance, i thought it was Shrek, but in the end, i kind of liked the way he was dressed) and the last member whose name i ignore was dressed in black... i think... geez i don't really remember, this guy is not that famous anyway, we don't get to see him a lot. They crossed the stadium, surrounded by bodyguards, to prevent hysterical fans to do anything.
Then, the so awaited performance began. They sarted with Knights of Cydonia it sounded so good in live. They played a lot of songs with so much energy, Matt played a lot of song in piano and he changed guitar at every song)
The list of songs that were played is (i think i did not make any mistakes)
1 - Knights Of Cydonia
2 - Hysteria
3 - Supermassive Black Hole ('this one rocks so much!)
4 - Map Of The Problematique
5 - City of delusion
6 - Butterflies and Hurricanes
7 - Microcuts
8 - Hoodoo
9 - Apocalypse Please
10 - Feeling good
11 - Sunburn
12 - Invincible
13 - Starlight (this one was breathtakingly brilliant)
14 - Man of mystery
15 - Time Is Running Out
16 - New born
17 - Unintended
18 - Blackout
19 - Bliss
20 - Plug in Baby
21 - Stockholm Syndrome
22 - Take a bow
Matt, as usual was full of energy, jumping and running all over the scene, he said something like "Nous aimons la France" with en english accent, it was really cute lol. Oh and Dom asked us to turn on our phones, or anything that could make light. It was at night, and when i saw all those lights, it was like i was sitting on space, watching the stars. It was sooo beatuful, I did not know we could make such beautiful things with a simple mobile phone. Oh and there was that guy sitting next to me. He was like 30 or 35, he was with his girl (they did not stop kissing, and what a kissing! She was putting her tongue down his throat, it was kind of frightening...i even wondered how they could breathe) but when Muse came, he started to dance (if dance it may be called) shaking his ass near my head and winding his arms all over the place, i thought i would be hit. Fortunatlely for him it did not happend. One thing that strike me that night is the number of white people in there. I only saw 1 black (aside from me and my brothers) Rock sound is definitely a sound mostly liked by white people.
I have a very good memories about that day, music was good, what am i saying, music was brilliant, the audiance was overexited and all... we really had a good time. I gotta thanks my bro for giving me a place free of cherge. I'm kidding, i'll pay you, in 4 or 5 years héhé. I think I shoud go to concerts more often. The next artist i'm willing to see is James Morrison (i was so low when i heard that he was coming in France for a unique concert and it was sold out >_<)

- Mood:
ecstatic
Let's talk about something I'm totally crazy about : MANGA ^^ Well, I'll start with a short definition (it's always good to know bout it). As most of us know, "manga" is the noun for japanese comics and print cartoons. Literally translated it means "random pictures". Manga became very popular from 20th century when laws prohibiting their publication were lifted. When they become very famous, they get adapted into animes.
There are five different target audience:
1- Shônen :young and teenage boy's manga, it is usually action packed and humorous
2- Shôjo : young and teenage girl's manga it is often more lighthearted and involves romance
3- Seinen : men's manga , it has more adult themes with some containing graphic violence and sexually explicit material.
4- Josei : woman's manga
5- Kodomo : children's manga
There are also different kinds of manga the main ones are:
Gekiga (dramatic pictures)
Semi-alternative (popular publication individualistic style)
Dōjinshi Fan-art or self-published manga
Magical girl (mahō shōjo)
Robot/Mecha (giant robots)
Moé (also mahō kanojo or magical girlfriend)
Shōjo-ai or Yuri, lesbian romance
Shōnen-ai or Yaoi, gay romance
Hentai, pornography
Of course we can not talk about manga without refering to the one, widely acknowledged to be the father of story-based manga (I'm sure you know who I'm talking about) it is ... Osamu Tazuka! He is the author of very successfull manga as Astro Boy, Black Jack, Kimba the white lion and so on.
The manga style is very rich in other words , it can range from realistic to super deformed. (By super deformed, i mean those alien like faces with eyes that takes about 2/3 of the face...)I find it very pretty =).
Some very famous manga that you MUST know about are Love Hina, Naruto, Dragon Ball (and all the other ones), Gunsmith Cats, Sailor Moon, Akira, Fruit Basket , GTO etc...
My favourite ones are Banana Fish, Hana Yori Dango, Model(this is a Manhwa), Full Metal Alchemist, Gakuen Alice, Death Note, Naruto, Hana Kimi, Kare First Love... that's all I can remember at the moment =). What I like about mangas are the drawings (even if they are not always realistic, they are pretty good in general), and also the scenarios (i'm not talking about the crappy ones like in Crazy Love Story or Un flic à Tokyo) that i often find breathtakingly brilliant (Where the heck do mangakas find all their inspiration ??!!)
What about you? What Do you like about mangas? And what do you hate about them? Oh and also which ones do you prefer? Maybe you could advise me some ^^.
Guess who it is ^^ (this is one is not very difficult)

Hey people,
Welcome on my LJ ^^. Hope you're gonna enjoy it =).
2007 has started and i took a resolution which is... to create my own LJ ^^( What kind of resolution is this???!!! lool anyway don't try to understand me or you'll get crazy =) I don't know yet what i will put on it...but as Lysabelle says "Ganbatté >.<". (Lysabelle was a very nice girl that i turned into a crazy person, you'll certainly read about her soon ^^). I don't really want to make a lousy description of what this blog will contain for two main reasons: the first one is that i'm pretty tired (that's party's fault!) and the second one is that i always change my mind so if i say i'll do something and then don't do it...
Well, I have to go now, i'll put some post soon =)
