Oh man only 3 more days until Christmas is here! And then starts Return Center Hell. T_T I'm really glad I don't work at Kohl's during the week anymore because I'd have to endure customer stupidity concerning shit they didn't like or want.
"Oh, this was too small/big, etc."
"It wasn't the right color."
"It was the wrong thing entirely."
"The kid I got this for didn't like it and his parents are making me get what he really wanted."
"I got this as a gift but I'm returning it for money because they gave me the original receipt and paid in cash."
I've heard it all. And jewelry is especially stressful given the sheer amount of expensive shit we have to return ourselves since people could have swapped out diamonds on us. X_x
Thankfully I won't be working there on Christmas Eve..or will I? Lately they've been trying to get me to come in for them to help out because they were short on cashiers and I've said no each time because I was either tired or it coincided with one of my shifts at Gamestop. This weekend they tried to get me to come back after I had done a shift from 4:30 in the morning to noon and was exhausted from the lack of sleep. x_x Bleh.
I feel kind of bad that I haven't been able to help, but fuck damnit I'm tired off my ass. Between the two jobs I've averaged about 32-35 hours a week, which is what they get the full time people at Kohl's on a slow to moderate week. Add in factors like bad weather, being tired, and lack of health insurance, I'm looking to stay out of the cold and rest up as much as I can so that in the event that I do end up sick, it's something that requires more rest and sleep as opposed to antibotics and a trip to the doctors. ;-;
At any rate, I can't WAIT to get to January. Vacation time from Kohl's as well as that sweet, sweet tax return. :D Bring on the moola, baby!!
In other news, I'm now part of the moderating admin team for the reborn #sonic-club on dA. Said I was interested on neoikeia's journal concerning the openings and a few days later I get an official invite. Sweet. :P I'm kind of excited because despite my lack of updates on the site, dA is one of a few places online where I was able to meet a plethora of Sonic fans like myself. Some of whom I still speak with regularly or read up on them from time to time here, or know in real life. :D
Not to mention I was a bit more active back then that I am now. Who knows? Maybe I should take this as an omen to get off my lazy (well, not lazy, just tired) butt and work on more stuff. :P I know I already want to surprise the fans of the Secret Affair fanfic with a Christmas update now, spur of the moment. Just have to get typing after I get out of work. :P
Well, that's about it out of me. Later all.
